To celebrate our McNeill graduates and community, we have interviewed graduating students on their experiences at CU 麻豆影院. The fourth and final graduate we are introducing for this Senior Spotlight is Nardos Abayenh.

How would you describe yourself and what you do?
Nardos: I would describe myself as a passionate and driven individual who doesn鈥檛 mind a challenge. I love helping and connecting with others in any way possible. I have been working for McNeill for a couple years now and have experienced a great family. Whether its working with incoming freshman or simply making posters, this community has been a blessing.
听
What is your major(s)/minor(s)?
Nardos:听My major is International Affairs with a Latin Concentration.
听
What are your next steps after college?
Nardos:听I plan on being a flight attendant and becoming a legal assistant later this fall in D.C.
听
Will you go to graduate school or another institution of schooling?
Nardos:听I plan on going to law school in D.C.
听
Are you already working, or have you received a job offer?
Nardos:听I have received an offer for an internship in the District Attorney鈥檚 office in addition to a CU football recruiting Internship.
听
How were you engaged on campus during undergrad?
Nardos:听I am the co-president of African Student Association in addition to participation in both BSA and CAAS here on campus. I also have volunteered in different sports events which have all enriched my experience here on CU鈥檚 Campus.
听
How did the McNeill Academic Program help you reach your academic and career goals?
Nardos:听The McNeill Academic Program taught me educationally and in communication but most importantly a way to connect with people in an academic environment. As a minority in a PWI, it was sometimes difficult to step out of my comfort zone but with the help of my coworkers and coordinators, I felt like I could network for both personal relationships and future career goals.
