CU Linguistics Associate听Professor 颁丑补蝉别听搁补测尘辞苍诲 has recently accepted a secondary appointment in the , at the .听He is the first linguist to hold such an appointment. This joint听appointment will facilitate a range of听research projects on patient-provider communication, as well as the development of communication-focused modules/workshops for medical students and health science researchers.听Prof. Raymond is currently working with CU Anschutz colleagues on a听project funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), concerning听weight management in primary medical care consultation. Called 鈥楶ATHWEIGH鈥�, the project is described here:听听(Suresh, et al., 2022, 颈苍听罢谤颈补濒蝉).听Beyond CU Anschutz, Prof. Raymond is working with Profs. (UNISINOS, Brazil) and (University of York, UK) to examine obstetric and gynecological consultations with low-SES patients in Brazil.听
