has joined聽the faculty of the Department of Linguistics as an聽Assistant Professor, specializing in morphology and typology. Dr. Haynie's聽work targets聽language prehistory and some big questions about origins, and she is currently finishing up a post-doc in聽Language Diversity and Cultural Evolution at Colorado State University. As a聽third-generation Colorado native,聽she is excited to these collaborations and develop new projects聽as a member of our Department. She is teaching a graduate course in historical linguistics this fall.聽
