Kiah May Headshot

Kiah is an Aerospace Engineering BS and Engineering Management ME student at CU 麻豆影院, with a Space Minor and an Engineering Leadership Certificate. Guided by a passion for space exploration and human innovation, she has made a remarkable impact on the CU community as a peer mentor, teaching assistant, and researcher. Kiah has mentored first-year engineering students as a recitation leader, fostering supportive and inclusive environments that help new students navigate the challenges of college life.

Kiah defines leadership as 鈥渦plifting humanity through integrity, innovation, and empathy.鈥 She believes true leaders create environments where diverse ideas thrive and meaningful solutions emerge. Her dedication is evident in her work with organizations like NASA鈥檚 Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Axiom Space, and Atomos Nuclear and Space, as well as her service as a U.S. delegate to the United Nations Program on Space Applications. On campus, she has driven initiatives that promote diversity in STEM and served as a role model for women in engineering and aerospace fields.
