Law School Initiatives

Colorado Law is committed to inclusion, diversity, and equity, and we are proud to support efforts that further this important goal within our school.

Wolf Week

Wolf Week is an optional pre-orientation program designed to help transition students to the study of law. Wolf Week is beneficial to many, including first-generation law students and those who have been out of school for some time. During Wolf Week, students learn about fundamental concepts related to the legal system that sometimes get left out of other discussions.

The academic support program is designed to provide students with expertise in building the skills necessary for a successful law student and a young lawyer, particularly as it relates to legal analysis and learning. Classes during Wolf Week introduce students to fundamental legal analysis skills and effective study techniques. The program includes opportunities to talk with upper-level law students and attend lunches with members of the Colorado Law faculty and legal community.

Affinity Student Organizations

The University of Colorado Law School is home to nearly 50 active student organizations to supplement their studies, engage with the community, and to create a culture of inclusion and belonging. Student affinity organizations provide students the opportunity to engage with one another around shared interests, identities, and experiences.
