I was born in Lima in a family from Cuzco. During my school years I had a poorly functional Quechua that I was able to improve thanks to the support of my family and especially my aunt Candelaria Berrio Huallpa, who made me a Quechua speaker.Ìý

I am a history graduate from the National University of San Marcos, and I am currently teaching Japanese at the university. I am part of the Glosas Croniquenses project, which seeks to organize words of indigenous origin found in colonial sources. Finally, as a member of Kamaq Yachachiqkuna, I am interested in the search for regional equivalents of larger vocabulary that can be used for the development of scientific vocabulary in Quechua.Ìý
