GloriaÌý°ä³ó²¹³¦Ã³²Ô

Gloria °ä³ó²¹³¦Ã³²Ô is an Associate Professor in the Department of Literature at the University of California, San Diego. She is an affiliated faculty in Latin Amercian Studies, Ethnic Studies, and Critical Gender Studies. Dr. °ä³ó²¹³¦Ã³²Ô’s research areas focus on Indigenous philosophies and literatures in Mesoamerica. She is interested in theorizing Indigenous literatures outside Eurocentric traditions and temporalities and teaches Latin American, Central American, and Latinx literatures in relation to indigeneity. She is of campesino and Maya Ch'orti' origins in the trifinio area of Central America. She is the author of Indigenous Cosmolectics: Kab’awil and the Making of Maya and Zapotec Literatures (UNC Press 2018). Ìý
