Linear and Non-linear Mixed Effects Models
Course Topics
Many times researchers have the following scenario: measurements are taken on experimental units (i.e. subjects) at given time intervals.
Most of the time subjects are set on different conditions (treatments) and the measurements (response) are expected to change due to the effect of these conditions. Two concepts are important when such experiments are run, that sometimes are used indistinguishable: Longitudinal and Repeated measurements. In this short course we are going to present some of the analysis techniques when either situation is present. We will also highlight the differences between those two concepts.
