Manjeet's current research centers on examining the career paths of engineers engaged in humanitarian, community, or international development work. The research aims to delve into the influence of sectoral transformations spurred by social justice movements and initiatives to localize aid on the career choices of practitioners. Before joining CU, Manjeet was involved in the international development sector forÌýeight years. He worked with various development organizations overseeing the construction of vital infrastructure such as hospitals, schools, and WASH facilities, primarily in rural areas across Asia and Africa.Ìý

His primary passion lies in the realm of infrastructure development and utilizing technology-driven processes to enhance construction project delivery, especially within resource-constrained communities. Recognizing that developmental challenges are often intricate and multifaceted, Manjeet is dedicated to becoming an expert capable of comprehending these intricate systems. He aspires to employ an interdisciplinary approach to overcome technical and socio-economic constraints, contributing to meaningful progress.
