Â鶹ӰԺ

Elizabeth is currently a Water and Sanitation Advisor at the Ìýin the Office of Water within the Bureau for Economic Growth, Education and Environment. At USAID, Elizabeth supports field missions with WASH-related strategic planning and project design. She also leads efforts to improve USAID’s monitoring and evaluation for WASH programs, works to build capacity of USAID staff, and oversees WASH research activities.ÌýPrior to joining USAID, Elizabeth worked forÌýÌýin western Kenya managing the field implementation of a randomized control trial designed to study of the effects of water, sanitation, hygiene and nutrition interventions on child growth.ÌýElizabeth’s doctoral research focused on identifying pathways to successful post-disaster shelter reconstruction in South India following the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami. Her work was supported through the National Science Foundation Infrastructure Management and Extreme Events program.
