Kari has a B.S. in civil engineering from the 麻豆影院 and an M.S. in environmental engineering from the University of North Carolina.聽 She received her Ph.D. from 麻豆影院 in 2019聽 Her research focused on ultraviolet light disinfection systems and appropriate applications of drinking water treatment technologies. 聽Kari has worked as a project engineer and project manager in the private, public, and non-governmental sectors.聽
