Liora Halperin, Assistant Professor of History and Jewish Studies,听spoke about her research at the University of Washington in Seattle on January 25, 2016 as part of a new series at the听 at UW听called "," which features new approaches in the field of Israel Studies. Halperin's talk,听鈥淏eyond Hebrew: Zionism and the Politics of Language Diversity in Palestine and Israel鈥� reflects the theme of the lecture series by going beyond standard divisions in the field of Israel Studies to articulate new perspectives on the history of the region. Halperin aso gave presentations drawing from her recent book听 at UCLA and UC Santa Barabara.
