RISE Interdisciplinary Research Theme (IRT) announces Summer Seed Grants

Applications for the 2023 Summer Resilient Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity Interdisciplinary Research Theme Seed Grant Program are now being accepted. The theme brings together new developments and world-class expertise in disaster resilience, sustainable design, and social justice across engineering and the CU 麻豆影院 campus. The grants can fall under three types 鈥  planning, equipment, or REU matching 鈥 and range in funding amounts. All faculty within the College of Engineering and Applied Science (CEAS), or faculty across the CU campus collaborating with CEAS researchers, are encouraged to submit a two-page 鈥渟cope of work鈥 document in addition to a 2-page CV per person for all principal investigators. This document should indicate the type you are applying for and detail how you are proposing to use the seed funds as well as the names and affiliations of your collaborators, how your proposed activities support and relate to the three themes of the IRT, funding opportunities that you plan to explore, and your proposed timeline for spending the grant. Applications for summer funding must be received by March 15 at 5 p.m. mountain time. Questions can be sent to Director Shideh Dashti by email.
