IRT Spring Networking Event set for May 4

Two interdisciplinary research themes in the college will host a joint networking event from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. on May 4 in ECNT 312 – a large conference room in the newly renovated North Tower of the Engineering Center. Members of the  and Resilient Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity (RISE) research themes will discuss findings from college funded seed grants through slides and posters. The RISE theme explores holistic actions to address the many drivers of urban disaster risk worldwide, while simultaneously addressing environmental sustainability and social equity challenges. The EE AIL theme seeks to develop the theories, technologies, and know-how for advancing student-centered learning and creating next-generation learning environments in K-16, graduate, and professional engineering and computing education. The event is open to all and faculty and graduate students are particularly encouraged to attend. No registration is required and questions can be sent to Acting Associate Dean for Research Shideh Dashti by email.
