Hydrology • Sediment transport • Flooding • Numerical modeling
My current research focuses on modeling sediment flux responses within river basins to human impact and climate change on a global scale.
This includes developing methodology to simulate sediment properties based on provenance. I’m also interested in influences of rapid climate change (deglaciation) during the late Quaternary on sediment fluxes to the ocean.
