New Venture Challenge makesÌýTop 20 list of University-Sponsored Collegiate Entrepreneurship Competitions
In its thirteenth year, CU Â鶹ӰԺ's New Venture ChallengeÌý(NVC) has been ranked No. 13 on the Top 20 U.S. University Entrepreneurship Competitions list.ÌýThis is the highest ranking NVC has achieved since its inception in 2009.
The list is aÌýjoint project of George Washington University Office of Innovation and Entrepreneurship andÌýTimes of Entrepreneurship. The weighted ranking is based on three factors: 1) total cash, 2) in-kind contributions and 3) participants.
"We're so excited to see NVC move higher on the Top 20 List," said NVC Program Director Tara O'Brien. "Even with NVC going virtual in 2020 and 2021, we've seen an increase in engagement across the board with participants, mentors, and our local entrepreneurial ecosystem."
