This afternoon the judge in the #theatershootingtrial聽denied a last-minute gasp by #James Holmes鈥� attorneys for a change of venue. Usually reading motions and files on the Colorado Judicial website is tedious, but Judge Carlos Samour has a sense of humor, which actually makes me kind of look forward to reading his rulings. He explained that no matter where the trial is held in Colorado, we鈥檙e not going to find anyone who hasn鈥檛 heard about the Batman movie shooting. It would, Samour wryly wrote 鈥渂e as useful as installing a screen door on a submarine.鈥�
