NextFifty Initiative is a Colorado-based private foundation dedicated to funding mission-driven initiatives that improve the lives of the older adult population and their caregivers. We seek to fund game-changing efforts to improve and sustain the quality of life for people in their second 50 years. NextFifty Initiative educates about proven initiatives and advocates for transformational change. We consider ourselves an engine for innovation that transforms aging. Our work will impact lives for generations to come.
The Industry & Foundation Relations (IFR) Team is in regular conversation with NextFifty program officers and is currently collecting proposal ideas for NextFifty Initiative’s Flexible Spending 2022 opportunity through March 31st. In an effort to best support CU Â鶹ӰԺ faculty with this submission process, a member of the IFR team will collectively share project ideas with a program officer for feedback. The IFR team member will then provide information and guidance to each faculty member.
​NextFifty seeks to support projects and programs with a direct impact on older adults in Colorado, especially underserved adults. Research is not a core funding area for NextFifty. If submitting a project idea regarding research, please articulate exactly how the research will directly impact adults during the anticipated grant period.
Successful proposals will address the older adult population being served (including demographics), your experience working with older adults, or your interest in beginning to work with older adults.
