My background is in Psychology (with MSc in Clinical and Health Psychology and PhD from the University of Murcia, in Spain). I moved to Australia in 2014 with a Postdoctoral Fellowship from the Seneca Foundation (Spain) to work at the Psychiatric Genetics laboratory at QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute. I have been working with this team since then, where I apply statistical genetics to the study of individual differences in mental health, women鈥檚 health, the brain, and personality. I works across disorders to investigate their genetic foundations and their interaction with environmental factors.
