Career Development
The Staff Career Development Program (SCDP) in the Department of Human Resources exists for all staff employed on the Â鶹ӰԺ campus, and provides both individual advising and group career development on topics ranging from career exploration to job search strategies. The services do not include job placement, transfers, referrals, or a guarantee of securing any specific position.ÌýCU Â鶹ӰԺ invests in their employees by providing career support for those staff interested in applying for internal opportunities, as well as furthering their careers. There is no cost for individual and group services. Ìý
Career Advising
The Staff Career Development Advisor is available to meet with employees for individual fifty minute advising sessions on the following topics:
- Maximize your strengths and competencies to increase job satisfaction and efficacy.
- Improve communication in your current role.
- Explore your career trajectory and possibilities.
- Build relationships through occupational inquiry and networking.
- Pursue promotional opportunities.
- Receive resume tips and feedback.
- Practice your interviewing skills.
