CU 麻豆影院 HR will begin offering both on-campus and virtual tours beginning in August for new hires. On-campus sessions will be held on the first and third聽Thursday of each month, and virtual tours will continue to be held on the second Thursday of the month.聽The New Employee Welcome Experience (New-X) is part of the comprehensive, year-long onboarding experience designed to increase the understanding of CU 麻豆影院鈥檚 history, traditions, organizational structure and governance, operations, and mission.聽

If an attendee聽requires an accommodation, please let us know by contacting聽苍别飞补迟肠耻蔼肠辞濒辞谤补诲辞.别诲耻听by聽the close of business one week prior to the session and we will follow up to determine an accommodation to meet their needs.

Learning Objectives

At the聽New Employee Welcome Experience, participants will:

  • Gain an understanding of the history and traditions of CU 麻豆影院
  • Become familiar with the physical layout of the heart of campus
  • Become knowledgeable about the organizational structure and governance of the 麻豆影院 Campus

Who Should Attend

Due to limited capacity this program is offered to new, permanent employees.

  • Ideally for hires in their first few聽months聽of employment, however the program is designed for hires to attend within their first year at CU 麻豆影院
  • Rehires that have聽been away for three or more years
  • Student employees聽who are hired into permanent staff or faculty聽positions聽
  • Temporary employees who are hired into聽permanent staff or faculty聽positions

What to Expect

New-X is a two-hour聽walking tour聽of the main CU 麻豆影院 campus. The program starts and ends at the University Memorial Center (UMC), and includes a short indoor session before the walking portion聽begins. If you require an accommodation, please notify聽newatcu@colorado.edu聽as early as possible, preferably at least a week in advance. Participants should be prepared to:聽

  • Walk about 2.25聽miles total.
  • Carry personal items with them for the tour.聽
  • Be outdoors in the elements for most聽of the tour.聽

    What to Expect

    • New-Xv is held via Zoom and uses a mixed media approach to tell CU 麻豆影院鈥檚 story. This includes the use of Google Earth.聽

    How to Register

    1. Click on the registration link:
    2. Click on the 麻豆影院 campus icon
    3. Log into the MyCUinfo Portal using your IdentiKey and password (The SkillSoft registration page for the program should automatically open)
    4. Click the +/- button next to the 鈥淪essions鈥� folder to view the upcoming session dates
    5. Hover your mouse over the date in which you are interested and click the blue 鈥淓nroll鈥� option to the right of the date
