It is not always apparent who might be struggling or in need of support in the aftermath of such events. Supervisors, it is important to check in with聽employees, make sure they are aware of available resources, and reaffirm they are part of a community that cares about them. If you are a supervisor and have not already checked in with your team, please do so and also be sure to care for yourselves. 聽Additionally, while classes are expected to take place on Tuesday, we聽ask that supervisors be flexible if employees need to take time away from work.聽
The聽Faculty & Staff Assistance Program聽(FSAP) and the聽Office of Victim Assistance聽(OVA) are available to assist any employee who may have been affected by this incident.
