Nutrition for Stress Management
Stress is a component of life, yet certain foods and habits can make stress feel much worse and even make you sick. Learn how to plan meals that reduce stress on your body, increase energy, enhance moods, decrease sugar cravings and increase ability to handle daily ups and downs. Work-Life Balance 101
What is work-life balance? How do I getÌýit? Is anyone capable of doing it? Work-life Balance 101 is a three part series where we will explore the whats, whys and hows of bringing self-care into our daily lives.ÌýParticipants will create a plan that fits individual needs and discuss ways to bring it to action. Any CU Â鶹ӰԺ employeeÌýwhoÌýwould like a better work-life balance and can commit to the full series.ÌýParticipants will be able to:

- Identify areas where extra support may be needed
- Receive support and resources from the group

In this session, participants will learn about tools to help clear obstacles and find sleep solutions that work for you.ÌýThis workshop is intended for any CU Â鶹ӰԺ faculty or staff member who wants to learn more about getting a good night’s sleep and add to their personal care routine. Parenting series is an interactive series that will highlight strategies that are most likely to increase positive interactions and strong emotional connections in your family system.Ìý Participants will learn about the neuro-biological and behavioral sciences that will help make sense of the developmental processes of infants, children and adolescents.ÌýThis workshop is intended for staff/faculty who are new parents and parents-to-be and who can commit to a four weeks series (can attend with Spouse even ifÌýnot an employee). Participants will be able to:
- Identify the concepts of human and child development
- Apply emotional regulation and communication skills
- Generate practical ideas for self-care as a parent
