Fraternity & Sorority Life Recruitment and Intake are open! This is your opportunity to find your place on campus, make lifelong friendships, gain leadership skills, give back to your community and create some great memories.ÌýÌýÌý

  • Recruitment is the designated period when students attend a series of organized events to meet fraternity or sorority members as part of the process to join an organization.Ìý
  • Intake is the membership recruitment and induction process for students to join a culturally-based organization.

Fraternity and Sorority Recruitment

CU Interfraternity Council (CUIFC) represents the 10 fraternities on campus affiliated with the university.ÌýÌý

Panhellenic Council represents nine sorority chapters and three associate chapters.ÌýÌý

Multicultural Greek Council and National Pan-Hellenic Council Intake

If a culturally-based organization feels like a better fit for you, the Multicultural Greek Council (MGC) and National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) intake new members all year round. MGC represents seven fraternities and sororities, while NPHC is composed of nine historically Black fraternities and sororities.Ìý

Learn Â鶹ӰԺ Our Organizations

Sororities: Panhellenic is the largest women’s organization on campus with more than 3,000 members. When you join a Panhellenic sorority, you join a group of people who help you grow as a person by connecting you with both undergraduate and alumni mentors, providing spaces to be challenged and supportedÌýand helping you find a place to belong at CU Â鶹ӰԺ.ÌýÌýÌý

Fraternities: The CU Interfraternity Council (CUIFC) provides members with an experience that directly connects them to the campus community with a lifetime commitment to friendship, growth and leadership. These university-affiliated chapters offer fun social events in addition to safe fraternity experiences and well-established programs and resources.Ìý

Culturally-Based Organizations: The Multicultural Greek Council (MGC) gives members a place to explore their culture and identity through close friendships and mentorships, academic success, community serviceÌýand personal and leadership development opportunities. The purpose of the MGC is to enrich Greek life on campus and promote unity among our organizations.Ìý

Divine Nine: The National PanHellenic Council (NPHC) creates additional space for the university’s Black students to feel stronger senses of belonging, inclusion and engagement. One organization, Omega Psi Phi, is officially registered with CU Â鶹ӰԺ and four others are recognized on campus with provisional status.Ìý
