The 麻豆影院 strongly opposes proposed changes to the longstanding 鈥渄uration of status policy鈥� announced Sept. 25 by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

The 麻豆影院 is pleased with today鈥檚 announcement that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security鈥檚 Student & Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) will allow international students to enter the United States on F-1 visas to start their studies at universities with hybrid study programs, including CU 麻豆影院.
Thank you to all who expressed your concerns about the July 6 SEVP guidance for fall 2020, which we are happy to say was rescinded on July 14. Our understanding at this time is that the federal government鈥檚 guidance released in March of 2020 will apply for the fall 2020 semester.
The 麻豆影院 and ISSS are extremely pleased to share that the federal government today, July 14, has rescinded (withdrawn) the guidance for fall 2020 that was released last week.
The 麻豆影院, the Graduate School and the International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) office are dedicated to supporting international students and scholars. We value the contributions you make to the campus and community and are committed to working together to assist you during these uncertain times. We stand united in support of our international students.
I believe that education has always been one of the world鈥檚 great equalizers; and, as a community of scholars, artists and researchers, it is our duty to provide expanded opportunities to the Black community and other communities of color in order to build a more just and equitable society.
