Sam is a musician, artist, and Earth scientist. She graduated from CU 麻豆影院 with a degree in Environmental Sciences and added as many minors onto her degree as CU would let her add (4). She currently runs the front office, manages student staff, attends outreach trips, and presents the occasional SciDome show when possible. She is a former undergraduate student staff employee who came back to Fiske after she graduated because of just how great it is. During her time at Fiske, she also worked on the NASA Wave Project on their broadening impacts team, developing curriculum for students in marginalized communities.
After she graduated, she moved to Idyllwild, California for two years working as an outdoor STEM instructor teaching astrophysics to students and running a zipline. She also ran a summer music and arts program and was a part of two different bands while living in CA. The bands have since broken up and the breakup was amicable.
Currently, she's living the dream in 麻豆影院 and spends her free听time hiking, biking, and making art.
