With a motto ofÌýShining New Light on Diverse Views of the Sun with our Ancient & Modern Sun-Watching Theme, the PUNCH Outreach program works to combine elements of personal Sun-watching in contemporary times, ancient Sun-watching in Chaco culture, and NASA heliophysics missions. The program directly collaborates with Native American & Hispanic/Latinx youth and families, Girl Scouts, and Blind & Low-Vision learners to inform the creation of a suite of products such as a planetarium film, an Ancient & Modern Sun-Watching Girl Scout patch, 3D tactile art representations of the solar corona, digital interactives of petroglyph sites in Chaco Canyon, and other activities and resources for the U.S. eclipses and beyond.
