Prof. Kasprzyk and Livneh's New Publication
Professors Joseph Kasprzyk and Ben Livneh's research has been published in . Their research article titled, "A Multialgorithm Approach to Land Surface Modeling of Suspended Sediment in the Colorado Front Range", presents a new model of simulating suspended sediment load (SSL) with a Land Surface Model (LSM). PhD Candidate William Raseman worked with Prof. Kasprzyk to calibrate the model, appling a multi-objective technique to each algorithm. "This first-of-its-kind multi-algorithm sediment scheme offers a unique capability to portray acute episodic loading while quantifying tradeoffs and uncertainties across a range of algorithm structures."
Congratulations!
