EVEN Team Wins 1st Place at National WEF Student Design Competition
EVEN team 鈥淐edar Engineering鈥 has taken first place at the 2017 WEFTEC Design Competition in Chicago, IL, for its submission,听Biolsolids: Digestion, Dewatering, and Handling Alternatives Assessment,听presented for Parker Water & Sanitation District.听
Cedar Engineering is composed of听EJ Katsoulas, Sarah Vander Meulen, Alan Bracewell, Riley McConnell, and Dillon Rodenbaugh, recent graduates of CU Environmental Engineering.
Christopher Corwin, EVEN instructor, served as faculty advisor of the Design Team.

Cedar Engineering participated in the Wastewater Design Competition in which they presented their exceptional design for processing of Biosolids.
Student Design Competitions听are intended to promote real world design experience for students interested in pursuing a career and/or education in water and wastewater engineering and sciences. The competition promotes interest and skills that will prove to be extremely valuable as the students enter the professional world.
