CVEN 4834 – Special Topics: Sustainable Potable Water Systems in Chile

We’re pleased to announce a new opportunity for engineering students to spend three weeks studying the application of rural water supply systems in Chile.ÌýTravel with fellow CU engineering students and collaborate with local students in Chile.ÌýLive with host families during your stay and spend time traveling to local water delivery sites.ÌýThe program will be taught and led by Dr. Karl Linden, faculty member in Civil/Environmental/Architectural, and Dr. Jeff Walters, CU alumnus and professor of environmental engineering in Chile.Ìý This is an exceptional, hands-on opportunity to earn 3 upper-division technical credits in 3 weeks!ÌýNo prior knowledge of Spanish is required, but students with a background in Spanish will have ample opportunity to use their language skills.ÌýCVEN 3414 is a required prerequisite. Program dates are May 13-June 3, 2017.
