Message from the organizer of the RMFM 2016:

"Several of us at universities and research institutions along the Front Range would like to hold the second annual Rocky Mountain Fluids Mechanics Research Symposium on August 9, 2016. The symposium will be held this year at the University of Colorado, 麻豆影院 in the Sustainability, Energy, and Environment Complex (SEEC) and will take place on one day, tentatively starting at 8am and ending at 5pm. More details about the symposium can be found here:听.听

The intent of this symposium is to give undergraduate students, graduate students, and postdoctoral researchers the opportunity to present their research in an informal setting. Each oral presentation is only 12 mins long with 3 extra minutes for questions. There is also the option for poster presentations. The other main purpose of this symposium is to further build on the fantastic fluids research community that exists in the Rocky Mountain region.听

Abstracts are due by July 22 (roughly 1 month from now) and can be emailed to abstracts@rockymountainfluids.org. Each abstract should be less than 1300 characters and there is no paid registration required, either for abstract submission or for the symposium itself. Unlike last year, this year we have reserved several rooms for the symposium and thus intend to accept every abstract submitted for oral presentation. We want as many people to participate as possible!"
