Along with providing educational and profession opportunities beyond the classroom,ÌýSEVEN provides a vehicle for students to be more involved in the community andÌýutilize their engineering skills.ÌýSEVEN is passionate about bridging the gap between community and campus by providing meaningful community service opportunities to support local environmental efforts. This last semester SEVEN partnered with Growing Gardens to design and build worms bins for their new educational facility in Longmont.ÌýGrowing Gardens is a non-profitÌýorganization located in Â鶹ӰԺ.ÌýTheir mission is to enrich the lives of our community through sustainableÌýlocal agriculture. These worm bins serve as vital educational tools forÌýtheirÌýchildrenÌý educational program,Ìýteaching them the importance of soil fertility for plant life andÌýgrowth.Ìý

This project was made possible by the generous donations of McGuckin Hardware!
