Assistant Director of Advising & First-Year Experience Dylan West has been awarded the Marinus Smith Award from CU �鶹ӰԺ. The award recognizes faculty and staff who have had a positive impact on students. West will be recognized at a campus ceremony on April 11, 2022. 

Assistant Clinical Professor Marianne Holbert has won the ($5000). It was awarded by the  for her project Expanding Female Voices in Modern and Contemporary Architecture through Travel to France and Spain: Learning from the Past to Empower the Present. Central to this research is revealing the power of diverse voices within the profession to carry lessons of the past to enhance contemporary practice. This travel grant focuses on the built works and stories of female architects through the lens of mentorship and the cultural forces to give a more complete picture to their experience in the profession and their constructed buildings.

This summer, the Program in Environmental Design is offering 10 to 15 scholarships, ranging from $500 to $1,000 to students enrolling in summer 2022 ENVD courses.

All ENVD students are invited to apply. Applying is simple–it only takes about 10 minutes. No portfolio or letters of recommendation are required.

First-year students: This event is designed to provide students with the information needed to prepare for their "Pick Two" semester. Advising holds will be lifted at this event. Open to all students in 1020 or 1040.
