Nesrine Mansour, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Architecture at 麻豆影院. She holds a PhD in Architecture and a Certificate in the Digital Humanities from Texas A&M University. During 2020/2021, she was a research fellow at Princeton University's Center for Theological Inquiry, focusing on religion and the virtual built environment. Her research centers on the convergence of architecture, digital media and sacred spaces, bridging disciplines like social sciences, digital humanities, and modern technology such as artificial intelligence and virtual reality. She is a national and international published author whose work encompasses various formats, including book chapters, journal articles, conference presentations, magazines, podcasts, invited lectures and design juror. In 2023, she was awarded the Emerging Faculty Grant by the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture (ACSA) and was a juror for the ACSA Steel Design Competition.
Currently, Nesrine is working on a book entitled "Religion and AI: Theoretical and Empirical Approaches" investigating the interplay between artificial intelligence and religion. She co-chaired the 14th ACSF Symposium in Istanbul, Turkey in June 2024, and is one of the organizers of the ACSF/2A International Design Competition for 2025 showcasing her commitment to advancing architecture鈥檚 collaborative and innovative frontiers. She a member of the Board of Directors of the Architecture, Culture and Spirituality Forum.
