Marti虂n Andre虂s Paddack is a professional architectural designer, artist, writer and educator. He was most recently an Assistant Professor of Architecture and Lecturer at Howard University鈥檚 College of Engineering & Architecture in Washington, DC from 2016-2023. With previous teaching experience in Fine Arts and English, Marti虂n is most interested in finding deeper meanings in architecture through the intersections of color, art, language, cultural identity, social responsibility, sustainability and fabrication. Marti虂n began his career as a professional artist before turning to architecture and has exhibited paintings at galleries and museums around the world.

From his varied lived experiences in Puerto Rico, Ecuador, Spain, Uruguay, Peru and the United States, 惭补谤迟铆苍 has interacted with many remarkable people from all walks of life - people that he has learned from as much as he has taught. 鈥淚t is from a deep place of empathy and humility that I have been granted the honor to teach so many wonderful students and meet and work with so many amazing people,鈥 he says, 鈥渁nd I will always make the time to listen and to help in any way I can. I believe in the discourse of design and in working towards unlocking the imaginative spirit in everyone 鈥 it is from here that we experience true joy and are at our best.鈥

惭补谤迟铆苍 earned his Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Fine Arts and English at the Hartford Art School/University of Hartford and earned Master鈥檚 degrees in Architecture and Sustainable Design from The Catholic University School of Architecture & Planning. He joins the ENVD program with great excitement and is very grateful for the opportunity to share what he has learned with everyone, as well as continue to learn and grow in ENVD鈥檚 community.
