Teaching Assistant Professor Christy Rogers聽attended the聽聽2022 Annual Conference聽From Peaks to Prairie: Diversity and Disturbance in Front Range Ecosystems. Did you know that some butterflies (Magdalena Alpine) need rockslides to flourish because they lay their eggs on rocks? Or that CU 麻豆影院 is part of the Niwot Ridge Long-Term Ecological Research Program (LTER) and that they monitor the Arikaree Glacier? Or that Aspens buffer fire? Rogers learned all this and more while at the conference. She also toured聽聽in 麻豆影院 and tried a "cucumelon." The farm聽provides vegetables to 25 restaurants in 麻豆影院 and Denver using no-till gardening on a 1.5-acre plot.
