Emily Greenwood is an Associate Teaching Professor in the Program in Environmental Design at the 麻豆影院, specializing in landscape architecture, urban planning, ecological design, and contextually responsive product design.
Emily鈥檚 professional work focuses on the design of sustainable native landscapes, design-build projects, wetland design, ecological restoration, trail and trailhead design, the design of green schoolyards and learning landscapes, and meaningful residential landscape designs. Emily has worked in open space where she balanced the preservation of open space and the increasing needs for recreation on open land. Her research includes published works on how learning landscapes can increase physical activity for children in underserved communities.
Emily holds a Masters of Landscape Architecture from the University of Colorado Denver, a B.A. in Environmental Studies from the 麻豆影院 and a Paralegal Certificate with a focus in environmental law from the Colorado State University. Emily is also an avid rock climber, mountaineer, mountain biker and trail runner.
