Patrick is an MA student focused on contemporary literature and its cultural/political ramifications. He received his BA in Literature from CU in 2022 and recently finished a term of service with AmeriCorps in Alamosa, CO.
As an undergraduate, Patrick wrote an honors thesis that applied the theories of modern feminism towards Shakespeare鈥檚 Antony and Cleopatra and Cymbeline. The thesis utilized a methodology focused on Shakespeare鈥檚 creative detractions from his source material and how these detractions indicate the plays鈥� attitudes towards its female characters. Outside of the classroom, Patrick is a guitar player, fisherman, metalhead, football fan, vinyl record collector, recreational reader, and creative writer.
