Global Engineering
- A team of researchers led by Professor Evan Thomas, director of the Mortenson Center in Global Engineering, has been awarded a three-year, $660,000 grant by NASA to join the SERVIR Applied Sciences Team, a joint venture between NASA and the U.S. Agency for International Development.

All include a 10- to 12-day immersion abroad that complements and expands on the material studied throughout the semester.
- Want more accurate weather forecasts? You’re in luck: Last month, researchers at CU Â鶹ӰԺ saw the fruits of their labors launch aboard a new satellite. That satellite is the first in a planned fleet of Earth-orbiters that the team says will one day record weather data at every point on the globe every 15 minutes.
