My career path: Sean is the Decarbonization Practice Leader for AECOM鈥檚 Building + Places in Washington, DC. He is an expert in corporate sustainability, decarbonization (operational and embodied), and strategic energy planning. His clients include NYC real estate, tech, manufacturing, entertainment, transportation agencies, and various US Federal agencies including the Department of Defense. Prior to joining AECOM, Sean was a Research Engineer at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory where, as a Principal Investigator for net-zero energy building research, he published several works that supported the US Department of Energy鈥檚 sustainability goals. Sean is a Certified Energy Manager by the Association of Energy Engineers and a LEED Accredited Professional by the United States Green Building Council.
My interest in being a Regional Network Ambassador: I鈥檓 interested in being a connector in the Washington DC area and serving current CU students and alumni.
Personal interests: I love being outdoors, fishing, hockey and music!
