CU 麻豆影院 postdoc earns biomedical fellowship for intestine research

Kaustav Bera, a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering, has been honored with a prestigious three-year postdoctoral fellowship from the Helen Hay Whitney Foundation, which supports career development of young scientists engaged in basic biomedical research.

CU 麻豆影院 researchers tackle HIV-related cognitive decline

Assistant Professors Kayla Sprenger and Laurel Hind, of CU 麻豆影院鈥檚 Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering, are on a collaborative mission to explore solutions for mitigating cognitive decline in individuals living with HIV. This decline can be caused by both the virus itself and the antiretroviral (ARV) drugs used to treat it.

Willam passed away on Jan. 7 in his home country of Austria. He was 83 years old.
