Jackie Salazar supports 11 interdisciplinary college programs in a variety of HR functions across all employee classifications. These are currently the programs that fall under Jackie’s purview: Biomedical Engineering Program, CMU/CU Partnership Program, Lockheed Martin Engineering Management Program, Engineering Connections, Environmental Engineering Program, Herbst Program for Engineering, Ethics and Society, Integrated Design Engineering Program, Integrated Teaching and Learning Program, Mortenson Center for Global Engineering and Resilience, Materials Science and Engineering Program, and Western/CU Partnership Program. Jackie is also happy to assist with faculty, staff, and student questions when her counterpartsÌýAngela Eberhardt (HR generalist), Ashley West (HR generalist)Ìýand Jess Rosso (HR coordinator for faculty) are unavailable.

Important tasks Jackie can support with:

  • Recruitment, hiring and onboarding as well as off-boarding and resignation processes across all employee classifications
  • Faculty reappointment, promotion and tenure processes
  • Performance goal setting and evaluation for all employee classifications
  • Planning and execution of community-building events as well as recognition opportunities
  • Compliance with university, stateÌýand federal employment rules
