My career path: After graduating from CU on an ROTC scholarship with an Aerospace Engineering degree, IÌýstarted a 25-year Army career that allowed meÌýto lead Soldiers in Europe, Haiti, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, and Iraq.Ìý IÌýworked as a missile maintenance officer, helped develop the Army’s logistics enterprise information technology system, served as a management consultant, and culminated myÌýcareer as the Director of Customer Operations for the Department of Defense’s (DoD) $35 billion-dollar annual business unit, the Defense Logistics Agency.Ìý After retiring from the Army, IÌýserved as a Vice President for Business Strategy in the Defense and Aerospace Industry and currently runÌýthe DoD’s Radio Frequency In-Transit Visibility program.Ìý I alsoÌýholdÌýgraduate degrees from the Army Command and General Staff College and the National Defense University.

My interest in becoming a Regional Network Ambassador: During my first career in the Army and while starting my second, I realized the value of a CU College of Engineering & Applied Science education and more importantly, the talent within the network ofÌýstudents and graduates.Ìý I want to help nurture and grow that network and promote the University of Colorado within our National Capital and along the East Coast.
Personal interests: skiing, sailing, eating, travelling, family and the Rocky Mountains
