Spacewalk Exploration Integration Lead for NASA's Human Lunar Lander | NASA Johnson Space Center
Current city:听Houston, TX
My career path: After starting my career in the Spacewalk Training and Mission Operations group at NASA, I pursued the advanced degree of Aerospace Engineering Sciences with a focus in Bioastronautics at CU as a distance student while continuing work full-time. The academic advisers and professors at CU listened to my goals and helped me set an achievable degree path while balancing work with my studies. Through CU's College of Engineering & Applied Science, I was able to publish technical papers and work with others in academia and industry that I wouldn't have otherwise been able to have听the opportunity. The connections I made through CU helped me successfully step into my current role to help develop spacewalk systems of the future.
My interest in being a Regional Network Ambassador:听I had a great experience with CU! Pursuing an advanced degree opened doors in my career, as well as helped me meet other Buffs on campus and develop connections with those in Houston. I want to connect with other Buffs in my community and help open doors for others听the way CU helped me!
