Kevin Lobdell joined the CU Â鶹ӰԺ Engineering advancement team in January 2018 as the college's inauguralÌýdirector of alumni engagement. In October 2020, he became the senior director of alumni engagement and donor relations, and transitioned to the role of deputy assistant dean for advancement in December 2023 where he is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive alumni engagement, annual givingÌýand donor relations strategy for the college. Kevin’s previous advancement experience includes working in alumni engagement at Binghamton University and Clarkson University and through various volunteer fundraising efforts. Prior to his work in advancement, Kevin started his career in higher education working in student affairs in the areas of residential life and student engagement.

Originally from upstate New York, Kevin earned his undergraduate degree in supply chain management from Clarkson University,Ìýa master's degree in higher education and student affairs from the University of Connecticut and an EdD in leadership for educational equity in higher education from the University of Colorado Denver.Ìý

Erin Judge joined the CU Â鶹ӰԺ Advancement team in July 2018 as the Program Manager for Alumni Events at the College of Engineering & Applied Science. ErinÌýwas promoted to Senior Program Manager in April 2022 and Assistant Director in January 2023. She is responsible for developing, leading, executing, and managing events to engage students and alumni.ÌýErin earned her degree in Hospitality Administration from Boston University and began her event planning career in hotels and resorts. She later returned to Boston University where she spent over four years executing large-scale university events, weddings, meetings,Ìýand summer conferences. Prior to joining the Advancement division, Erin worked onÌýCU Â鶹ӰԺ's campus at Conference Services.Ìý

As a proud Colorado native,ÌýErin is thrilled to be back in her home state. In her free time, she can be found trying out new restaurants in Denver and soaking up Colorado’s 300 beautiful days of sunshine.

Ellie Busch joinedÌýtheÌýteam as the program manager for alumni engagement in March 2023. Ellie’s background converges at the intersection of volunteer management, community engagement, and higher education. As a Forever Buff herself, Ellie graduated from CU Â鶹ӰԺ’s college of media, communication and information with a master’s degree in communication where she studied identity, conflict, and ways of talk within communities in online spaces. Throughout her professional career, Ellie has supported students, alumni, volunteers, and community stakeholders in both academic and non-profit environments – building meaningful connections and cultivating engaging opportunities along the way. As the program manager for alumni engagement, Ellie works with the CU Â鶹ӰԺ Engineering community to continue fostering and growing an inclusive and supportive network for students, alumni, faculty, and industry partners.

Hailing from the northern tip of the beautiful Missouri Ozarks, Ellie earned dual bachelor’s degrees in communication and women’s studies from the University of Missouri-Columbia – the first public university west of the Mississippi River. In her free time, Ellie can be found staring at the ground in search of interesting mushrooms, flowers, and rocks with her dog, Kim, and cheering on St. Louis City SC.

Tammy O’Brien supports the Advancement team in the College of Engineering and Applied Science as an Advancement Assistant.Ìý She is responsible for supporting the alumni engagement strategy for the college. Prior to joining CU, Tammy worked as an Executive Administrative Assistant for the Douglas County School District.Ìý

Tammy is originally from San Antonio, Texas.Ìý She has lived all over the U.S., but came to Colorado 13 years ago and loved it so much that she decided to stay. When she is not working she loves to hike, read, cook, spend time with her family, and watch her son play in the CU Marching Band.ÌýGo Buffs!
