The inaugural Women Forward in Technology Scholarship awards feature a strong showing from the 麻豆影院, with CU Engineering women earning 7 of the 16 scholarship slots.

The scholarship program, created by a group of startup companies, seeks to honor exceptional women and grow their ranks in STEM careers. The call for applications drew more than 200 entries.

CU 麻豆影院's winners are a diverse group, and include undergraduate, Master's, and PhD students with majors from across the college of engineering.

• Geya Kairamkonda, Mechanical Engineering, Junior
• Laila Marzall, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, 1^st year MS
• Jenny Ramirez, Civil Engineering, PhD
• Elizabeth Stoneham, Electrical Engineering, 1^st year MSEE
• Rachel Wilmoth, Mechanical Engineering, 3^rd year PhD

Each honoree will receive $3,000 in scholarship funds. Applicants were required to submit an essay, letter of recommendation, and their transcripts.

The startup businesses behind the are the Foundry Group, Techstars, Cooley, Yesware, Help Scout, Cloudability, Kulesa Faul, FullContact, Anchor Point Fund and Distil Networks.
