Victor Leos

Victor was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. After graduating from Bowdoin College with a degree in Biology and Environmental Studies, he has worked in various forms of education, from outdoor environmental ed, to biology classrooms, to community engagement work. He holds an MS degree in Science Education where he focussed on designing culturally sustaining learning environments  to engage students in inquiry and to develop critical perspectives about science in and around their lives. As a STEM Education Doctoral Student his interests are in studying how to make space in science classrooms for Black, Brown, Indigenous, and other marginalized ways of knowing.
