- The American Physical Society, a "leading voice in physics,鈥 will honor CU 麻豆影院 scientists and educators as part of its spring 2019 awards. The Excellence in Physics Education Award will recognize an interdisciplinary CU 麻豆影院 team for their work with the Colorado Learning Assistant Program and the Learning Assistance Alliance, an international initiative based in the School of Education. Congrats to Valerie Otero, Laurie Langdon, and team.
- Susan Jurow, associate聽professor of learning sciences and human development, was recently honored with the Provost鈥檚 Faculty Achievement Award for her contributions to learning in the food movement and her work focused on the organization of learning, participation, knowledge production, and social practices.
