Hannah Fletcher joined the School of Education in December of 2015. She has more than 15 years of communications experience, first as a reporter, photographer, and web editor covering local government and sustainable agriculture, and for 10+ years, she has worked in higher education marketing and communications focused on education, public health, and community outreach. As assistant dean of communications & engagement for the School of Education, she oversees digital and print communications and supports the school’s admissions, advancement, events, and strategic initiatives. She is also a volunteer commissioner for the human rights board in her local community, and the throughline of her work is an opportunity to contribute to community impact and social change.
The daughter of a teacher and a pilot and the granddaughter of farmers, Hannah is her truest self when she is learning, traveling, and connecting with this big, beautiful earth. She enjoys hiking, camping, hanging with friends and her little family, and messing up her partner’s otherwise perfectly curated record collection with sweet jams from the ’80s and ’90s.
