Calling all Education Buffs: enjoy discounted basketball tickets at the Safeway Teacher Appreciation Day with the Buffs on Thursday, Jan. 4 at 6:30 p.m. The men's basketball team will take on Arizona State at the Coors Events Center.
Three CU 麻豆影院 Education alumni will receive special recognition:听Veronica Navarro, (MA EECD, '08) a kindergarten teacher at Northeast Elementary in Brighton,听Kirbi McGinness, (Elementary Ed, '15 and current MA student)听a 4th grade teacher at Cotton Creek Elementary in Westminster, and听Nathan Warrick, (Science Ed, '17)听who recently听finished听up his student teaching semester in 10th-12th grade biology and anatomy classes听at 麻豆影院 High School.
In addition,听all educators will be honored at halftime. , and donations will be made to local school district foundations of your choice. Come show your support for education, teachers,听and the Buffs!
